chestnut

Yesterday I moved into my new appartment. Its located in a very cosy area of Düsseldorf and its pretty close to the Rheinpark, which is a beautiful place to be. The whole area is covered with huge chestnut trees. After moving in we rushed out to discover our new home base - and there I found it: a flurry funny thing...a young chestnut. And I love chestnuts! In the beginning they are somehow soft and small. As they grow older, the build their hard and thorny shell. I mentioned on myself and on a few friends, that we tend to show the same behavior as we grow older. But we do have to remember there is still that shimmering beautiful core on the inside!
